A&T University Returns with Broadway Unleashed
June 14, 15 and 16 at 8 pm

Come join North Carolina A&T State University’s Theatre Arts Program featuring the National Award Winning Richard B. Harrison Players as they perform some of Broadway’s best in the Outdoor Pavilion on June 14,15 and 16th at 8 p.m.. The productions are part of the Roanoke Island Festival Parks Performance Series which is free and open to the public.
This energetic group of performers will make you want to clap, sing and dance in the aisles. Watch as these talented students strut their stuff performing gospel, jazz, blues and show tunes with style and grace. Don’t miss North Carolina A&T’s Richard B Harrison Players uncompromising, undeniable, unadulterated, unleashed ….BROADWAY!
Performances at the Outdoor Pavilion are a great opportunity. Enjoy the magic of Broadway and the warm breeze off Roanoke Sound at this unique outdoor venue. Seating is on the open grass, so bring a picnic basket and lawn chairs- for the entire family.
Also at Roanoke Island Festival Park, visit the attractions that highlight Roanoke Island’s history. Learn from historical interpreters in their Elizabethan era clothing at the Settlement Site and the Elizabeth II, the park’s 16th century representative ship. Visit our newest exhibit, the American Indian Town. Imagine and learn at the interactive Adventure Museum, with exhibits that portray over four hundred years of Outer Banks history. See the movie The Legend of Two-Path. Admission is charged. Sundays at the park are always ½ price.
