Her versatile background includes theater, film, and television. For many years, Chris Chappell performed roles in The Lost Colony, including Ananias Dare, Sir Walter Ralegh, and John Borden. Currently, Mr. Chappell professionally acts in the Raleigh-Durham area, co-owns a dance studio, and is an instructor in dramatic art.

The production centers on the relationship between Queen Elizabeth I and Sir Walter Ralegh. Shepherd of the Ocean is designed to entertain, educate, and captivate all audience members.
