Fiber Arts Holiday
Felting and spinning are some of the oldest fiber crafts and have long histories both in and beyond England. By the 16th century, felting for hats and caps received regulation much like other trades of the day in England. Learn about these fiber arts, items made from them, and their connection to English trades, and try them out for yourself!
We provide the felt, and string to make an ornament or you can make a pin. Some shapes include a star, snowflake, bell, sweater, and more! Join us for a Fiber Arts Holiday, every Saturday this month from 2 to 4 pm in the lobby outside of the Adventure Museum. This program is included in the price of admission.
